The Agfa Ampio is a high performance positive working thermal plate. Its advanced technology delivers you stunning print results in all print applications. Ampio offers a high quality reproduction as well as consistent, predictable press performance. Its high contrast plate coating is engineered to deliver 1-99% at 200 LPI resolution, meaning that even the highest quality requirements are well within the capabilities of Agfa Ampio. A high quality grained and anodised aluminium base ensures robust press performance and stable ink/water balance. Advanced plate design means that no pre-heat is required before plate processing, and post-baking is only required where run lengths are expected to be over 100,000 impressions (or where UV conditions are used).
