Acuity Advance HD 2545
The Acuity Advance HD 2545 offers you excellent opportunities in the wide format UV digital imaging technology. The Acuity Advance HD 2545 delivers both rigid and flexible high quality prints which hold up visually, even at the closest of viewings. It also allows you to print on a wide variety of other objects up to a thickness of 48 mm. The Acuity Advance boasts an optional white ink module that allows white to be used as part of the image content or as an underprint or overprint layer. Unlike many other printers, the white ink can be printed in-line, allowing much greater potential in the application of white within a job. But perhaps what is most impressive is the ability of the Acuity Advance to print up to three distinct layers on any given job with bright, opaque Uvijet white ink.
Enhanced Productivity at every Stage of Production
The Acuity Advance flatbed and roll-to-roll UV inkjet printer provides near photo realistic quality onto a wide variety of rigid and flexible media. The dedicated flatbed design employs a zoned vacuum table to hold all types of media, including irregularly shaped or uneven surfaced materials up to 48 mm thickness. This ensures accurate registration even on multiple passes. In addition, the Acuity Advance prints edge-toedge, saving time and labour in finishing. The Acuity roll-to-roll option increases the media range even further to include vinyl, paper, backlit film, textiles and PVC banner without affecting the rigid printing option and workflow.
Precise Printing
The vacuum table holds the rigid media stationary while printing, enabling you to print regular and precut substrates or even specialty items like pre-stretched canvas, doors, ceiling tiles, etc. The micron accuracy of the system allows for perfect double-sided registration or overprinting to increase ink density. This means backlit graphics have the vividness and saturation previously only possible with photographic imaging.

Roll-to-Roll Option
An optional roll-to-roll module can be added in the field, giving customers the ability to print onto flexible media including PVC banner or self-adhesive vinyl, without compromising the rigid printing workflow. Once a rigid print is finished, the print head assembly is positioned over the roll-toroll module and begins printing on flexible media, while the rigid material is swapped out and the new board is placed on the vacuum table and prepared for printing. The modularity of this system protects customers’ initial investments because the roll-to-roll option can be ordered at time of purchase or added in the field.
Double Sized Print Bed
The Acuity Advance X2 comes with all state-of-the-art features and offers you the advantages of a double sized print bed of 3.05 x 2.5 m. With the Acuity Advance print quality you are are accustomed to, you can now double the size of your rigid media. And as the bed carries two independent vacuum systems you can also print one job while at the same time prepare your next print. The X2 can also be fitted with a 2.2 m roll-to-roll unit. The white ink option is also available; alternatively the X2 can also be upgraded in the field.
Optimized Print Performance Using Uvijet UV Curing Inks
Using FUJIFILM Sericol’s unique Micro-V ultrafine dispersion technology to maximise pigment loading, the Uvijet range of UV curing inks delivers strong vibrant, lightfast colours. Environmentally-friendly UV curable process, Specifically formulated for the Acuity Advance printer, Excellent chemical and abrasion resistance, Exceptionally wide adhesion range. For certain applications the use of Uvijet adhesion promoters is recommended.
Acuity Imaging Technology
At the heart of the Acuity Advance is imaging technology that allows each print head to produce variable size droplets. This allows the printer to produce sharp and crisp images when jetting fine droplets (as fine as 6 picolitres), and to deliver denser, more uniform solid areas when jetting larger droplets (up to 42 picolitres). The result is image quality usually only seen at resolutions of 1440 dpi or higher, with crisper, more legible type (as low as 6 pt), smoother skin tones, finer line detail, and the best solid colour coverage of any printer in its class.
Ink System
The UV curable ink is packed in two-litre ink bags (white, 1 litre) to minimise ink changes. The system includes an intelligent sensor to alert the operator of ink change requirements before actually running out. It also ensures correct ink colour installation. The ink change system takes only seconds to complete with minimum waste and operator intervention. This four-colour CMYK system + white uses 35 % less ink than a six-colour system + white and with better or equivalent print results.
