StudioRIP Options
StudioRIP is protected by a hard key, which also stores the list of enabled options. StudioRIP customers can choose their required options on acquisition, or can easily buy further options later by a simple electronic procedure.
Large Media
Enables StudioRIP to work with media widths over 14 inches. (Applies to Lite Edition only)
High Resolution
Enables StudioRIP to work with resolutions over 2540 dpi. (Applies to Lite Edition only)
Multiple Clients
Enables multiple workstations controlling StudioRIP simultaneously from different workstations.
Multiple Print Engines
Enables StudioRIP to work with two or more print engines simultaneously.
TIFF Output
Enables rasterized, 1-bit TIFF files to be output to a hot folder (for CTP or other devices with TIFF catcher software).
Imposition
Full featured imposition module with built-in and customizable pre-press marks and imposition schemes.
Trapping
Adobe-compliant trapping module with mitered ends, proportional traps etc.
Ink Duct Control
Calculates the ink coverage for the ink ducts of the press, prints a diagram or exports a JDF file.
Stochastic Screening
Second order stochastic screening with adjustable white and black dot size.
Digital Proofing Unlimited Width
Contone or dot for dot (up to 200 lpi) with excellent color accuracy. Drives the Epson and HP printer range. (Applies to Lite and Standard Editions onl)
Digital Proofing 18" width
The same as above, but the media width is limited to 18" - 45.7cm. (Applies to Lite and Standard Editions only)
Digital Proofing 14" width
The same as above, but the media width is limited to 14" - 35.6 cm. (Applies to Lite and Standard Editions only.)
Digital proofing for Inkjet Edition
The same as above, size limitation is according to the Inkjet Edition license. (Applies to Inkjet Editions only)
