The ORIS Press Matcher software is ideal for maintaining color consistency among multiple digital presses, or between your conventional and digital presses. It can also be used to color manage wide format output, so your signage and point of sale materials remain color consistent with offset or gravure printed collateral. With so many different printing choices, however, consistent color is not always easy. Conventional press output may vary, if multiple presses and locations are used. Short run digital press output often varies widely from conventional offset. Even two identical digital presses or two identical wide format printers or digital copiers may produce two different looking versions of the same job. ORIS Press Matcher uses hotfolders to automatically transport and process digital files from any Windows or Mac OS computer on the network. Each hotfolder can be configured to handle the color requirements of a particular RIP or output device. Automatic FTP, email notifications and many other workflow features are standard. Ink or toner optimization is available as an option, via ORIS Ink Saver. Automatic file format conversion is available via ORIS Normalizer.
