The imagePROGRAF iPF9000 is 12-colour pigment ink 60” large format printer which now offers one of the widest colour gamut in it class, providing accurate colour reproduction on a variety of media.

The imagePROGRAF 9000 incorporates Canon’s LUCIA 12-colour pigment ink system and the Canon developed 1” twin print-head which gives jaw-dropping reproduction of 2400 x 1200 dpi, a 4pl droplet size and a total of 30,720 nozzles. Additional red, green and blue inks colours deliver one of the widest colour gamut in its class; grey and photo grey ensure smooth gradation, reduced granularity and high colour accuracy and consistency; whilst the Canon LUCIA pigment inks ensures that the print is light fast for 120 years. The iPF9000 has been designed to be ideal for the production of point-of-purchase displays and posters yet its quality is also of a high enough standard to give it appeal to proofing specialists, designers, fine art producers and, of course, photographers.

Connection is either via the latest-generation, high-speed USB 2.0 interface, or Ethernet. Combined with the twin-head pigment ink system, you can expect superb production at twice the level of some competitor devices. The integrated high-performance cutting device won’t let you down either and keeps on performing for years to come, without ever needing to be replaced. Available with two sizes of ink tanks (330ml or 700ml) and the ability to replace the ink tanks whilst printing so that you can meet even the tightest of print deadlines.

Easy-to-use yet powerful

The imagePROGRAF 9000 comes with a range of solutions to ensure that set up and use are as simple as possible. These include imagePROGRAF Print Plug-In for Photoshop, which allows users to export 16-bit RGB images processed with Adobe Photoshop directly to the imagePROGRAF printer, without changing its broader colour gamut and retaining a smoother gradation. It provides an efficient printing environment for Adobe Photoshop users, as well colour adjustments and preview functions.

Additionally, the Canon software PosterArtist and Digital Photo Print Professional are packaged as standard and can be configured to an existing network to ensure ease-of-use and effective print management.
