Avon Graphics is pleased to announce that it has been chosen by HighWater Designs Ltd as a reseller of the new high performance Thermal and UV CtP systems in the UK and Europe, to complement the existing range of Violet CtP.
The CRON Thermal TP33 and TP46 CtP thermal systems will be first to market bringing the benefits of day light operation and full automation to customers who previously found this technology was out of their price range. With options for 32, 48 and 64 beams customers will easily be able to select the performance/price point required for their business. The TP engines support a range of imaging resolutions from 1800 to 3000 dpi, with no loss of speed at higher resolutions.
The TP33 range supports plates from 450x340x0.15mm up to 830x660x0.30mm, producing 35 full size plates per hour with 64 beams, 30 per hour with 48 beams or 23 per hour with 32 beams.
The TP46 range supports plates from 450x370x0.15mm up to 1160x940x0.30mm, producing 25 full size plates per hour with 64 beams, 20 per hour with 48 beams or 15 per hour with 32 beams.
Coupled with the right Thermal plate technology, be that processed or process free, these systems will reproduce a full tonal range from 1-99% at screen rulings up to 250lpi.
Later in the year HighWater will be working towards the release of the CRON UVP-46 conventional UV platesetter enabling customers to benefit from the low cost of conventional PS plates with a high quality direct to plate imaging engine that’s more affordable than anything on the market today.
